Along with our general liability insurance cover, Petbnb provides a guarantee to help cover medical costs for treatment of the pet which are incurred as a result of an injury which occurs during a booking, for which there is no liability. As with our general liability insurance cover if the injured pet already has insurance that may cover some or all costs arising from such an injury for example the pet owner’s health insurance policy for their dog, you should file a claim under that policy before seeking reimbursement from Petbnb.
What is covered?
Injuries as a result of a traffic accident.
Bone fractures.
Injuries or sickness caused by ingesting foreign objects or poisoned food.

What's not covered?
Treatment costs for preventive care, or medical or veterinary bills resulting from an illness or a chronic or pre-existing condition.
Preventable conditions such as fleas, ticks, or parasites.
For a complete understanding of the our veterinary costs guarantee, including the full list of conditions, exclusions and limitations, we strongly encourage you to read clause 20 of our Terms and Conditions (currently only in Dutch).
